I have always loved nostalgia, especially giving nostalgic gifts. Over time, I became interested in photo restoration and new ways to bring those memories back to life.
When I made a family film for my father-in-law, I saw how this technology connected with people who were not especially interested in technology. People who had only been able to revisit the past through a photo album suddenly had another way to see it.
That was when I understood why I wanted to build Meaavar: so that anyone with a photo album could have the chance to relive those moments.
